A thriving, charismatic, vibrant, Spirit-filled, Bible-believing family church, at the heart of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, proclaiming God’s Word and following Christ’s example, touching and transforming lives, embracing and leading people with the love, hope and goodness into the Presence of a compassionate and faithful God. We are engaged in worship, systematic Bible teaching, study, prayer, fellowship and communion.
Divine Ministries has become a place to connect and speak personally to bring healing, wholeness, and transformation. We strengthened many lives through our Divine Youth Ministry, Divine Kids Ministry, Divine Women’s Ministry, Divine Literature, Divine Worship Seminar, Divine Hands and Divine Media offering services to the sick, old, and widows. We also offer divine worship and healing services for lepers and the necessary medical aid.
Rev. Jones Devakumar
A gifted preacher, the founder and president of Divine Ministries, called by the Almighty God to be an Apostle. He walks fully in his prophetic call, with a prolific word of Deliverance and hope. He is a prominent leader, and his vision is to minister hope, purpose, encourage, lead, plant, develop, reach souls and raise ministers for the Kingdom of God. His faith teachings raised the people to be optimistic in their lives and to depend on God’s word. He motivates and helps people to grow in their faith by preaching deeper doctrines in Bible with higher revelation. Through his anointed prayers and teachings, people have received healing from various illnesses, deliverance, breakthroughs and prophesies upon their lives as the power of Faith is increased in the hearts of them. His love and affection towards the families built many separated couples and now they are glorifying His name through their lives. His gifting is motivating and mobilising people in biblical teaching and the prophetic.
The miracle happened unexpectedly on March 11, 2011, when God’s power poured out and the Holy Spirit spoke to Rev. Jones about receiving a church. He gave the name to be “Divine Ministries” and bestowed the system of Worship. He prayed to God to show him the people for the church and while he was reading Psalm 8:2, the Holy Spirit spoke to him saying that the “Foundation should be laid amidst children and infants which will then give a harvest of 30, 60 and 100-fold blessings was revealed”. So, from the den, he began his service to the Lord through Sunday Class Ministry. The children were blessed and grew up overwhelmingly surrounded by God’s truth who are an integral part of the everlasting Kingdom of the Lord and are the members of the Church. They are also now a part of the ministry as Sunday School Leaders, Youth Leaders, and Worship leaders.
Sister Christy Jones
The dedicated partner of Rev. Jones Devakumar is a glorious worship leader and a prayer warrior, called by the Almighty God as a Prophet. Her prophetic anointing breaks chains, delivers the people from all the bondages, sickness and provides inner healing. She is the co-founder and has been the staunch support in growing the church. She has walked through with him in growing the ministries, in serving and relieving people, in advancing Christian faith and in developing individuals and families to develop and exercise their faith. She continuously serves the poor, the ill, the young, the needy and the general public. She is active in training and educating people and in spreading the message of the Holy Spirit. She strives hard to develop communities, young people, poor and isolated communities, women, local community, and other individuals spiritually. She has involved herself in worship, Christian preaching, teaching, evangelism, prayer, and children’s Sunday school. She lives a devotional life and chooses to see this world with Heaven’s eyes.
